Rakesh Jhunjhunwala invested 5000 rupees in Tata Tea in the year 1986. He had bought the shares for 43 rupees. Just in the span of 3 months the shares sore into 3 times the initial price. Just in 3 years, the shares price increased up to 20 – 25 lakhs
2. Rare Enterprises
This is Rakesh Jhunjhunwala’s privately owned firm which mainly trades stocks. It also backed Akasa Airlines. The firm was started in the year 2003. It was established by him and his wife who is also a stock market investor. The firm mainly invests in biotechnology, digital entertainment, education, healthcare, and hospitality.
3. Donation to Charity
He has pledged to give almost 25% of his wealth to charity in his lifetime. He also said that he considers charity as his 4th child. Also, Rakesh is the father of two sons and a daughter. This is such a Nobel thought and has set almost 1 billion for his new foundation.
4. Biggest Investment
His most profitable investment can be said as Titan. Meanwhile, Rakesh invested in Titan which is not performing that well in the days of his investment. Not now it’s worth almost 11000 crores. Also, Who knew Titan would flourish someday in the future to this extent?
5. Interest In Bollywood
We all are Bollywood fans in our hearts and so was Big Bull. He has invested in movies such as Sridevi’s English Vinglish. Also in 2016, he financed ‘Ki and Ka’ which starred Arjun Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan.
