Tudum, a global virtual fan event slated for September 25 has been announced. It will feature exclusive news and first peeks at some of Netflix’s original content. Tudum will feature stars and producers from over 70 Netflix programmes, films, and specials. They will be called after the sound viewers hear when they press play on Netflix.
Interactive panels and chats with the producers and actors of some of Netflix’s most popular shows. Namely, “Stranger Things,” “Emily in Paris,” “The Witcher,” “The Crown,” “Cobra Kai,” and “Bridgerton,” will be there in the event. Some of Netflix’s most popular films will be shown, including “Red Notice,” “Don’t Look Up,” “Extraction,” “The Harder They Fall,” “The Old Guard,” and others.
Netflix said, “It’s our first-ever global Tudum event, and our goal is simple: to entertain and reward Netflix fans from around the world.”
Moreover, several other large firms, like Netflix, have begun staging their own virtual events in response to the COVID-19 outbreak. Additionally, shifting towards livestream programming. Disney+, for example, hosted a special event in May to commemorate National Streaming Day.
Companies are increasingly using these types of events to present their original material.

Additionally, Netflix is no longer reliant on other programming or conventions to promote its own material. Now, it can sponsor its own events like this one and others like Geeked Week. However, Tudum also appears to be a strategy for Netflix to increase membership numbers. Also, it will do so by promoting popular returning episodes and teasing new material.
On Saturday, September 25, at 12 p.m. EDT/9 a.m. PDT, a virtual livestream for the three-hour Tudum event will begin. The event is all set to stream live on Twitch, YouTube, and Facebook. At 8 a.m. EDT/5 a.m. Also, Netflix will host special pre-shows showcasing its Korean and Indian original series and films. Moreover, its anime content as well.
