Netflix India Unveils Lineup For The Year 2021

Netflix India has announced 41 Indian titles for 2021 (and probably beyond), and there’s something for everyone!

With the ongoing pandemic and country going into lockdown, Netflix and other OTT Platforms incurred major viewership as the audience went crazy for online platforms. Moreover, there is no doubt that all these OTT Platforms outshined the image of web series and made a huge impact on viewers.

Additionally. this is the largest slate of original content Netflix has revealed from India in one go, and insiders say more will be announced during 2021. For the time being, the 41 new titles are more than what Netflix India has released in previous years. However, Netflix will release 31 Indian titles in 2020. This would include teen dramas, sixteen films, and five comedy specials. Netflix CEO Reed Hastings had revealed an Rs. 3,000 crores (approximately $420 million) investment when he visited New Delhi in late 2019. At the See What’s Next India event on Wednesday, Netflix did not include a new number.

There are 13 movies, 15 scripted films, six stand-up comedy specials, four documentaries, and three reality TV shows among the 41 Netflix Indian originals. That’s a lot to take in, so we’ve organized it into tidy lists below so you can skim through it quickly.
