2. Water

The Censor Board banned the movie. But you can watch it on YouTube. Water, starring John Abraham, is a story of a widow in a widow ashram in Varanasi. Additionally, the movie also stars Lisa Ray, Sarala Kariyawasam, among many others. The film was released in 2005, but released in Indian only in 2007.

3. Parzania

4. Fire

Directed by Deepak Mehta, Fire is another movie that sparked controversy and was finally banned. The film showcases two sisters-in-law falling in love with each other. 5. Unfreedom

Unfreedom is yet another movie that the Censor Board banned due to the portray of lesbian lovers. Additionally, it also shows a terrorist angle. Moreover, it also shows many nude scenes that were enough to ban the movie. The film features Victor Banerjee, Adil Hussain, and Bhanu Uday.
