Moon Knight: Oscar Isaac Promises A Serious Mental Health Aspect

In the Moon Knight mental health aspect will be taken seriously, according to Oscar Isaac. He believes the creative team’s task was to put a lens on it. Isaac will play Steven Grant, a mild-mannered gift shop employee who suffers from a sleep condition. Also, blackouts as well in the new Marvel Cinematic Universe series.

Steven, on the other hand, begins to recall a previous existence and his true identity as Marc Spector, a mercenary with dissociative identity disorder who has become a conduit for the Egyptian moon deity Khonshu and a stumbling block for cult leader Arthur Harrow.

Along with Isaac, the Moon Knight cast includes Ethan Hawke as Harrow, May Calamawy as Layla El-Faouly. Moreover, a woman from Marc’s past, Gaspard Ulliel as Midnight Man, and F. Murray Abraham as Khonshu’s voice.

The MCU series is directed by Mohamed Diab and includes independent sci-fi/horror genre pair Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead. Moreover, The Umbrella Academy developer and future Mortal Kombat 2 scribe Jeremy Slater. As the premiere of Moon Knight approaches, those behind the series are revealing new details about what’s to come.
