Metaverse: Facebook Is Changing Its Name, Zuckerberg Announces

Facebook’s new corporate name is Meta, according to CEO Mark Zuckerberg, in an apparent attempt to recast the company’s public image from battered social network to tech pioneer focused on establishing the “metaverse,” the next generation of online connection. 

The Facebook app, which is used by over 3 billion people every month all across the world, will remain its name.

Zuckerberg, addressing at the firm’s Connect virtual reality conference, says it’s time to rebrand the company to reflect its larger goals. Moreover, finally revealing Facebook name is changed to Facebook meta.

He stated, “It’s time for us to establish a new business brand that encompasses all we do.”

This is happening seventeen years after Zuckerberg founded Facebook in his Harvard dorm room. However, the company’s reputation is in tarnish by a series of scandals. And yes, Facebook Mark Zuckerberg changes name.
