Malala Yousafzai Gets Married, Priyanka Chopra Wishes Her The Best

Malala Yousafzai, a Nobel Laureate and a Pakistani activist for girls’ education, married in a tiny ceremony in the United Kingdom. 

Yousafzai rose to international prominence. She was recognised as a result of her campaigning against the Taliban’s efforts to prevent Pakistani girls from attending school.

Malala Yousafzai Age: The 24-year-old shared a few photos from the wedding with her spouse Asser Malik. Also, her family members as she announced her marriage on Twitter. 

Yousafzai is seen carrying out the wedding rituals in her Birmingham house with Malik. Malala Yousafzai husband is the general manager of the Pakistan Cricket Board’s High-Performance Centre. Moreover, Malala dressed in a tea pink suit and minimal jewellery.

She captioned two photos of herself and her husband from their nikkah: “Today is a significant day in my life. Asser and I exchanged vows to be life mates. We had a small nikkah ceremony with our families at home in Birmingham. Please send us your good wishes. We’re looking forward to embarking on this trip together.

However, Malala looked stunning in a tea-pink kurta outfit, which she accessorised with simple jewellery. In a black suit, Asser complimented her.

Priyanka Chopra, a global icon who has worked with the youngest-ever Nobel Peace Prize winner on a project focusing on the importance of education among children. Also, she was one of the many celebrities who expressed their congratulations to the couple.

PeeCee added a photo of Malala and Asser from their wedding celebrations, along with the following heartfelt message: “Congratulations on your achievement! I wish you a lifetime of joy and happiness. You are a true inspiration.”

Furthermore, Malala Yousafzai was 15 years old when she was shot in the head by the Taliban in Pakistan in 2012. This happened while she was campaigning for girls’ education. However, after surviving the assassination attempt, she and her family relocated to Birmingham. She has been an advocate for girls’ education since then. Moreover, last year, she received her bachelor’s degree from Oxford University. 

Malala Yousafzai received the Nobel Peace Prize at the age of 17 for her contributions to and fight for children’s education. Kailash Satyarthi, a children’s rights activist and she split the prize.
