Major trailer: Adivi Sesh joins the fight against terror on Indian soil as the courageous heart soldier.
Actor divi Sesh’s upcoming biographical film Major, which pays homage to Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, released today. Salman Khan, Mahesh Babu, and Prithviraj Sukumaran joined together to promote the trailer for Major in Hindi, Telugu, and Malayalam, respectively, in a joint effort to honour the film’s subject.
The trailer premiere was a big deal in Hyderabad on Monday.
Unlike previous documentaries about the terrorist attacks of September 11, Major, as the trailer suggests, focuses on the lesser-known side of the martyred soldier. The fact that Prakash Raj, who plays the protagonist’s father in the film, introduces the plot with a voiceover and relates Major Sandeep’s story further supports this. Sandeep’s love life is also briefly there. Additionally, the protagonist’s wife is Saiee Manjrekar. Revathi and Prakash Raj play the protagonist’s parents, and also their roles seem to be the emotional centre of the film.

The trailer is jam-packed with high-quality action images. Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan is a good fit for Sesh. He has the appropriate temperament for the part. The lead cast’s performances, as well as the emotionally charged screenplay, appear to be driving the plot. The background score by Sricharan Pakala complements the topic. The stunning visuals of cinematographer Vamsi Patchipulusu are the mainstay. Overall, the teaser provides the necessary energy and sets the tone for Major’s big-screen debut.
Additionally, the film is under Sashi Kiran Tikka’s direction and is simultaneously in Telugu, Hindi, and Malayalam. Moreover, Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, the braveheart of the 2008 Mumbai attacks, tells his story. It chronicles his life from childhood through the tragic events of the Mumbai attack.

Sobhita Dhulipala, Saiee Manjrekar, Prakash Raj, Revathi Nair, and Murali Sharma all play key roles in Major. Moreover, Sony Pictures Films India, in collaboration with Mahesh Babu’s GMB Entertainment and A+S Movies, produced the film. Sricharan Pakala wrote the soundtrack.
According to the trailer, Major not only covers the events surrounding the terror attacks, but also goes into Sandeep’s personal life, which could very well be the film’s USP. Moreover, on June 3, the film will be there in theatres.
