Currently, Kangana’s Emergency movie is in full swing! Numerous actresses have played characters based on India’s first female prime minister, Indira Gandhi, over the years. In the upcoming movie Emergency, Kangana Ranaut will play the late political figure. When the trailer for Emergency was published on July 14, many people praised Kangana’s appearance as Indira Gandhi.
The actress has started revealing the cast’s first-look posters while the movie is still in the process of being filmed. Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Indira Gandhi, both former prime ministers, will be portrayed in the film by Shreyas Talpade and Kangana, respectively.
Pupul Jayakar, a cultural activist and Indira Gandhi confidante, will be by Mahima Chaudhry, and J P Narayan, a revolutionary leader, by Anupam.
1. Vishak Nair as Sanjay Gandhi
Kangna is releasing mind-blowing looks of the entire Emergency cast. This time, she has shared a poster of Vishak Gandhi as the legendary Sanjay Gandhi, with a deep, thoughtful expression on his face.
Vishak Gandhi is popularly known as a Hindi TV Serial actor for his role as Kabir Singh Rathod in Balaji Telefilms’ ‘Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani’.
2. Milind Soman as Sam Manekshaw
In Kangana Ranaut’s historical drama “Emergency,” actor-model Milind Soman will play Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw, the producers revealed on Thursday. Described as the account of a turning point in Indian political history.
You’ll be excited to attend the movie after seeing Milind’s appearance with his attire and a trim mustache.
3. Mahima Chaudhary as Pupul Jayakar
Author Pupul Jayakar, the friend and political confidante of former prime minister Indira Gandhi, will be Mahima Chaudhry in the film.
Kangana Ranaut posted on Instagram to introduce her: “Introducing @mahimachaudhry1 as the lady who saw it all and documented it so that everyone could experience the Iron Lady up close and personal. Friend, confidante, and author #PupulJayakar.”
4. Shreyas Talpade as Vajpayee
Atal Bihari Vajpayee, the previous prime minister at the time of the emergency, will be Shreyas Talpade.
Shreyas plays Atal Bihari Vajpayee, a young and upcoming leader when Mrs. Gandhi became the Prime Minister for the first time. Kangana is thrilled to have him on board. He was one of the Emergency’s heroes.
5. Anupam Kher as J P Narayan
Anupam Kher will play the character of Jayaprakash Narayan in Kangana Ranaut’s forthcoming movie Emergency. In the middle of the 1970s, political activist and leader Jayaprakash Narayan oversaw the uprising against Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.
Ritesh Shah creates the screenplay and dialogue from a story by Ranaut. Renu Pitti and Ranaut herself produce it.

Emergency is a political drama. However, Kangana later emphasized that it is not a biopic of Indira Gandhi, despite her film’s announcement last year.
Vicky Kaushal will, incidentally, also portray Manekshaw in Meghana Gulzar’s Sam Bahadur biopic, which is now in production.
