Preity Zinta and her husband Gene Goodenough have welcomed twins through surrogacy. On Twitter, the actress posted a selfie with her spouse and marked the start of a new adventure. Yes! Preity Zinta is now a mother!
Zinta and Goodenough have given birth to twins, Jai and Gia, a boy and a girl.
“Hi everyone, I wanted to share our great news with all of you today,” the actress said on social media, announcing the happy news. As we welcome our twins Jai Zinta Goodenough and Gia Zinta Goodenough into our family, Gene and I are ecstatic and our hearts are filled with so much appreciation and love. This new chapter in our lives excites us much. Thank you very much to the physicians, nurses, and surrogate for being a part of this amazing experience. Gene, Preity, Jai, and Gia (sic) send their love and light.”
Moreover, it was clearly seen how thrilled everyone is when the news of Preity Zinta becomes a mother came out!
Many actors including Abhishek Bachchan and Shilpa Shetty congratulated the two.
Shilpa Shetty wrote, “Sooooo happpyyy and excited hearing this great piece of news my darling. Heartiest Congratulations my darling PZ, sending you Gene and the babies all my love.”

Despite the fact that Preity and Gene married in 2016, they had been dating since 2011. On February 29, 2016, they married and relocated to Los Angeles. The wedding held in a private ceremony in Los Angeles. Reportedly, Goodenough is Senior Vice-President for Finance at NLine Energy, a US-based hydroelectric power firm.

Preity began her Bollywood career in 1998 with Mani Ratnam’s film Dil Se, in which she starred alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Manisha Koirala, and went on to make a name for herself as a supporting actor. She made her television debut in 1996 with a chocolate advertisement. The actress’s most recent film was ‘Bhaiaji Superhit,’ which came out in 2018.
