IPL match DC Are Back To The Top Of The Table After Defeating RR By 33 Runs

It is a double-blockbuster for all the IPL fans today, as there will be two IPL matches. The first is between Rajasthan Royals and Delhi Capitals, who will top the IPL table if they win today’s match.

Additionally, the Delhi Capitals are looking the stronger team, with consecutive wins. However, Rajasthan Royals will too look to continue their winning streak after defeating the Punjab Kings, owing to the last-over thriller.

After RR put the Delhi Capitals to bat, the bowlers did well, with RR winning the toss. Additionally, former captain, Shreyas Iyer was again the star with the bat, scoring 43 runs from 32 deliveries.

Besides, the bowlers sent the Delhi Capitals openers back to the pavilion in quick sessions. Bangladeshi bowler Mustafizur Rahman had the best bowling figures for the RR, taking 2-wickets for 22 runs.

In turn, Delhi Capitals bowlers also weren’t far behind and did not allow the RR batters to get any batting rhythm. RR, too, lost early wickets and did not look comfortable in any position to win the match.
However, cricketer Sanju Samson scored a half-century, but it was not enough for the team to get over the line.

Moreover, all the bowlers played their part, including the experienced Ravichandran Ashwin. The batters did not look in any situation to chase the target of 155 runs, with all the bowlers getting over the top of the Rajasthan batters.
Speedsters Avesh Khan and Anrich Nortje too played their parts, taking wickets in quick sessions and not giving away any big overs.

With this win, the Delhi Capitals have again come to the top of the table and are becoming a serious contender for the trophy this year. Additionally, Delhi Capitals have never been able to win the IPL trophy. Showing promising results, the team has failed to win it in the semi-finals and the finals.
