This 16th-century temple is in Lepakshi, Andra Pradesh. The architecture used here is Vijayanagara’s architectural style. There are almost 70 pillars in the temple which support the roof. The mystery of this temple is that one of the pillars does not rest on the ground. Moreover, one can also call it a hanging Pillar. What keeps the pillar hanging remains a mystery to date.

5. Kailasa Temple

This temple is located in Ellora Caves, Maharastra. Also, the construction year of the temple still remains unknown. Meanwhile, the inscriptions of this temple tell that it was built around the 8th century. The temple was carved out of a single rock. What remains a mystery is how they constructed this temple thousands of years ago. This temple also has the world’s largest cantilevered rock ceiling.
