HBO Max has released a new teaser for the upcoming Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts reunion special.
Several important members of the Harry Potter film franchise will gather for the streaming event, including lead trio Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, and Emma Watson, to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the series’ debut film, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.
The 50-second teaser shows actors Robbie Coltrane (Hagrid), Matthew Lewis (Neville Longbottom), and Mark Williams (Arthur Weasley) receiving letters asking them to participate in the celebrations.
The letters are supposed to look like the letters that future students at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry get in the books and films. They do promise them a place to study magic there. A sight of Platform 9 3/4, where Harry and his pals join the Hogwarts Express, is also in the teaser.
The Harry Potter reunion special commemorates the 20th anniversary of the release of the first film.
The first of the franchise, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. Helena Bonham Carter, Ralph Fiennes, Jason Isaacs, Gary Oldman, Imelda Staunton, Tom Felton, James Phelps, Oliver Phelps, Mark Williams, Bonnie Wright, Alfred Enoch, Evanna Lynch, and others will be among the cast members.
Some fans, on the other hand are sad by the absence of cast members. “I’m disappointed Helen McCrory, Richard Harris, and Alan Rickman were unable to attend the reunion. One person wrote, “May they all rest in peace.” In the first two films, Richard played Hogwarts headmaster Albus Dumbledore. Moreover, Helen played Narcissa Malfoy. Alan played Severus Snape in the film.
