Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma is, without a doubt, one of the most loved Indian daily soaps. Hence, Ghanshyam Nayak’s death feels like a personal loss for many. Playing the character Nattu Kaka in the daily soap, Ghanshyam Nayak passed away at the age of 76 years.
He was diagnosed with cancer and had already begun his chemotherapy. However, this wasn’t enough, and it was only last year that Ghanshyam Nayak underwent surgery. The surgery was done after several knots were found in his neck.
The entire Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma crew was extremely sad following the demise of one of the most loveable crew members. All the members had only good words for Nattu Kaka. Producer Asit Modi too expressed his sadness and said that both were close. Additionally, he also shared that Ghanshyam Nayak was always joyful and showered his blessings on all the other members of the show. Moreover, he also said that the entire crew would miss his presence.

Every Crew Member Will Miss Nattu Kaka
In addition, Jennifer Mistry, who also plays one of the characters of the show, said that the demise filled the members with sorrow. Besides, even Tanmay Vekeria, who plays the character of Bagga, also said that he received a call from Ghanshyam’s son after his death. He also noted that Ghanshyam Nayak was a gem of a person. Besides, he also added that Ghanshyam Nayak was in pain due to his illness and also informed that he was going through difficult times.
Nattu Kaka was one of the most popular characters of the show. Additionally, he also arrived at the show even during his illness. All the crew members of the daily soap have some significant share of memories. Munmun Dutta, one of the main actresses in the serial, shared some of her best memories on her social media account. In her long caption, Munmum Dutta remembered all her precious memories with Nattu Kaka and paid her respect to him.
Indeed, Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma will not remain the same without Nattu Kaka. The entire fan base will miss you, sir, and will never forget your act.
