1. Sultanpur National Park, Gurgaon-Jhajjar
Sultanpur National Park, which has been closed since March 18, 2020, will reopen in November this year. Prior to the Covid epidemic, the park was closed every year from June 1 to September 30 for birdwatching season.
In terms of tourist visits and accessibility, Sultanpur has traditionally been the more “well-known” forest. It also helps that the recognition means it is well-organized, allowing travellers to plan trips and gain valuable birding experience, even if they are novices. 2. Asola-Bhatti Wildlife Sanctuary, Tughlakabad
This wildlife refuge is part of the Northern Aravalli Leopard Wildlife Corridor, which runs along the Delhi, Faridabad, and Gurgaon interstate boundaries.
It supports around 190 critically endangered bird species, including the Black Francolin and Grey-headed Fish Eagle, as well as the Indian Leopard and Blackbuck.
The Red-Headed Vulture and Egyptian Vulture is there in the Wildlife Sanctuary, which also has a vulture conservation programme in place.
3. Sanjay Van
This forest spans in 443 acres. It is located near Vasant Kunj and Mehrauli. Moreover, it is a birdwatcher’s paradise on earth. Also, it is home to a diverse range of native and visiting species, including the Asian Koel, White-Throated Kingfisher, and Jacobin Cuckoo, as well as golden jackals and butterflies.

4. Dhanauri Wetlands, Greater Noida
Wildlife photographers and bird lovers will enjoy the Dhanauri Wetland. It is only 45 kilometres from Noida and draws a variety of migrating birds in the winter. Moreover, there are around 70 resident birds who breed here throughout the summer and monsoon.
5. Jahanpana City Forest, Chirag Delhi
The Jahanpana City forest covers 435 acres. It provides a breath of fresh air to visitors who come for early morning walks. People seeking to improve their health howl in laughter clubs, while neelgais fly in and out between the trees.
