Doctor Strange 2 Teaser: Witness The Multiverse Madness

Doctor Strange 2

Marvel has released the official teaser for Doctor Strange 2 (in the multiverse of Madness), featuring the return of Evil Doctor Strange and Mordo.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is the sequel to Scott Derrickson’s Doctor Strange. Earlier, Benedict Cumberbatch was there as Stephen Strange and it released in 2016.

Since then, the character has appeared in Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: Endgame, and Spider-Man: No Way Home. Sam Raimi is directing the sequel, which may release in May 2022.

Moreover, the plot of Multiverse of Madness is unknown. Although, this MCU film got announced at San Diego Comic-Con 2019, where Marvel Studios also confirmed that Doctor Strange would be joined by Wanda Maximoff aka Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen).

The MCU’s current Sorcerer Supreme Wong (Benedict Wong), Dr Christine Palmer (Rachel McAdams), Karl Mordo (Chiwetel Ejiofor), and newbie America Chavez are all set to participate in the film (Xochitl Gomez).

The Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness clip is initially there in conjunction with the release of Spider-Man: No Way Home. Also, served as a post-credits sequence for that film. However, it is currently accessible for purchase on the internet.

It’s unclear from the trailer who’s the villain. We don’t know if Evil Strange or Mordo is the major villain of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Mordo warns Stephen that “the biggest threat to our universe is you,” yet the trailer pans to Evil Strange, implying that Mordo is referring to simply Evil Strange – possibly all incarnations of Stephen Strange throughout the multiverse.

In the film What If…? Evil Strange grew all-powerful and ended up destroying his reality in an attempt to save Christine Palmer, whose death was a predetermined point in the chronology that could not be reversed.

However, he was somewhat redeemed in the finale when he assisted in the multiverse’s salvation. Also, was assigned the task of keeping an eye on Killmonger/Zola.

Following WandaVision’s post-credits sequence, a rumour circulated that she would be a villain in Doctor Strange 2. The trailer appears to debunk that theory.

Moreover, Doctor Strange enlists Wanda’s help to explore the Multiverse, according to the video.
