It is yet again a victory for the Chennai Super Kings against the Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL. Requiring 156 runs in 20 overs, Chennai batters could easily chase the target with almost 2 overs left. With quick innings from openers Ruturaj Gaikwad and Faf du Plessis, CSK came over the top of the RCB bowlers. With this victory, CSK again rises to the top of the table with seven victories in their nine matches.
Earlier, RCB openers Virat Kohli and Devdutt Padikkal gave the team a great start. Both of them scoring half-centuries after they were batting first after losing the toss. Captain Virat Kohli scored 53 runs from 41 deliveries. On the other hand, Padikkal stood a stand-out, scoring a brilliant 70 runs at an astonishing strike rate of 140.
However, they could not convert this start into a big score to fight against CSK.

Dwayne Bravo Again Stars For CSK With The Ball
Chennai Super Kings’ bowlers bounced back tremendously, taking wickets at quick intervals. The West-Indian medium-fast bowler, Dwayne Bravo, used all his experience to get three wickets. He became the most successful bowler from the team in the match. He got the vital wicket when Ravindra Jadeja took a catch to get rid of the most crucial man, Virat Kohli. Additionally, Bravo also claimed the wickets of the dangerous-looking Glenn Maxwell and Harshal Patel.
Shardul Thakur, too, wasn’t far behind Bravo in taking the wickets. He got rid of AB de Villiers, who could not make a big score again in this IPL, after getting out for a golden duck in the last match.
CSK also seemed to struggle during their chase after the openers were sent back to the pavilion by Yuzvendra Chahal and Glenn Maxwell. However, Ambati Rayudu made sure to stand his ground and played a good inning, scoring 32 runs. No other bowler could unrest the CSK batsmen as Suresh Raina and captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni ensured they took the team over the winning line.
