‘Thor’ Chris Hemsworth, the Australian heartthrob from Hollywood is the face of the Emirates’ Expo 2020’s spectacular new ad campaign. The one-minute, 30 second long Dubai expo 2020 video was released yesterday by Emirates (Dubai’s airline). It shows Chris introducing the ‘future’. The futuristic ad has dancing robots, flying metro trains, and is a splendid display of all the mind-blowing things planned by Dubai, UAE.
Chris Hemsworth looks handsome as ever as he talks about the ‘world’s greatest show’ and all the different pavilions in it. The opening of the video shows a disclaimer stating that the video was shot pre-covid. Although this is a delayed tourism ad for overseas travel, it comes at the right time and is worth the wait.
Dubai Expo 2020 dates
The much-awaited Dubai Expo 2020 was postponed due to the pandemic. It has finally been scheduled and is approximately 23 days away. To continue for the next 6 months, the dates for the event are between the 1st of October 2021 up to the 31st of March 2022.
