CBSE Releases Term 1 Date Sheet For Classes 10 and 12

CBSE has released the date sheet for classes 10 and 12 board exams. Earlier, the Board had said that it would be issuing the date sheet on October 18. Additionally, there was even a fake date sheet being circulated. However, CBSE has said that it was not true and the correct date sheet will release in some time.

The standard tenth students will appear for their exams from November 30. Their exams will end on December 11. At the same time, as per the date sheet of class 12 , their term one exam starts from December 1 and will continue till December 22. Additionally, the Board will take two exams from this year for the students of both these classes. While the term one dates are out, term two will be in March and April. 

The term one exams will be objective in nature and MCQ-based. Due to the winter season, the exam duration will be 90 minutes and will start at 11:30 am. 

Students can get the date sheets on the official website of CBSE. Moreover, they can also go through the sample papers and the marking scheme provided on the same. 

Steps To Download Date Sheet

  1. Go to the official website of CBSE: cbse.gov.in
  2. Click on the Result Link, which you can see on the homepage
  3. Choose your class
  4. Lastly, click on Submit to download.

While the Humanities stream of class 12 will have their first paper on December 1, the Commerce students will have their first exam on December 3. 

CBSE has also informed that the schools will be responsible for conducting the exams for the minor subjects. However, the question papers will be sent by the Board. Moreover, Sanyam Bharadwaj, the exam controller in CBSE, has said that class 12 will have its exams beginning on November 17 for the minor subjects. Meanwhile, the exam for class 10 for minor subjects will start on November 16.

Lastly, CBSE will not be grading the students based on this exam. The students will receive the final result at the end of the 2nd term in March-April.
