This film was made in the 1960s potryaing Mugal Era. It was one of the most expensive movies made in India. This movie left a benchmark for all the movies ever made in India. The whole set took almost 2 years to make. It became the highest-grossing movie of that time. The story revolves around the love affair between Mughal Prince Salim and Anarkali. Sanjay Leela Bhansali raised the bar for building beautiful sets in Bollywood. This movie will always remain a magnificent one. The Ayina Mahal looked stunning and has become the second most expensive set in Bollywood. Meanwhile, 20,000 intricately designed mirrors were used to make it.
