A blessing is becoming a parent. However, due to various physical issues, some couples are unable to conceive a child. And in vitro fertilisation (IVF), which aims to address infertility concerns, has paved the path. For those who don’t know, IVF is a set of operations that promotes fertility and aids in child conception. In IVF, mature eggs are removed from ovaries and fertilised in a laboratory using sperm. Moreover, there are many celebrity mothers who opted for this.
What is this process that Celebrity Mothers have followed?
If the woman has blocked fallopian tubes or other fertility problems and the guy has a small issue with his sperm count or motility, IVF may be useful. If a couple has tried to conceive for at least two years but has been unsuccessful, they should consider IVF.
In addition, many famous people, both in India and around the world, have attempted IVF. Even yet, it isn’t always straightforward because it strains your bodily and emotional well-being.
Here are a few celebrity mothers who went through IVF and shared their journeys.
1. Mahhi Vij
Mahhi is one of the celebrity mothers who recently disclosed that her daughter Tara was the result of their final IVF attempt, which she and her husband Jay Bhanushali had made. She was indeed born prematurely and had to be put on a ventilator right away. Mahhi admitted to trying IVF when she was 32 (in 2014), but it didn’t work out. After that, many doctors advised her to choose surrogacy when she reached a certain age. Jay, though, wished to savour those nine months.
2. Sambhavna Seth
Sambhavna Seth, an actress, and dancer, recently shared details of her unsuccessful IVF attempts on her YouTube channel. “IVF is one approach. Some people might be aware of it, while others might not. She revealed how she was the target of trolls for not being able to have children, saying, “We have attempted it four times and failed. People made fun of me and called me old for being unable to become pregnant even after being married for so long. But they are unaware of the issues we have”, she continued.
3. Debina Bonnerjee
In her vlog, Debina Bonnerjee discussed her IVF procedure. She revealed that she began her journey with IVF in 2017 and admitted that the extraction of her embryos required three attempts. She said it was important to maintain patience throughout. Also, despite receiving injections, she did not put on weight. In April of this year, the actress gave birth to a baby daughter named Liana.

4. Amrita Rao
Amrita Rao and RJ Anmol opened up about their four-year battle to conceive via IVF in a video posted to their YouTube account.
The couple pursued IVF after a surrogacy attempt ended in failure. The actress admitted, “I used to detest it every time the nurse came to give me those hormonal shots. Despite being painless, I used to detest them. I made the decision not to have IVF again after that. Thankfully, everything turned out well for them in the end.”
5. Kajal Aggrawal
Kajal Aggrawal described how she miscarried four times and needed a D&C to prevent permanent scarring and uterine damage. She became pregnant with triplets after IVF, but due to the development of complications, it became a high-risk pregnancy. She endured numerous horrible situations in her life along these lines, including ectopic pregnancies that followed one another and ultimately losing pregnancies.
